Types of field trips
Think of some places your middleschoolers want to go. Think of some topics they enjoy. Look in the phone book. Google search clubs or organizations that are related. Network, network. Check with other family members. Ask people you run across who seem like they might be interested in spending time with this age group.
One never knows what discussion and exposure will spark that passion of interest in your child.
